Dr. Sohail Khan was raised in Augusta, GA, and graduated from Lakeside High School. He completed his undergraduate degree at the Georgia Institute of Technology and attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. After completing an internship in surgery and medicine at the Carilion Clinic in Roanoke, VA, he returned to Augusta for his ophthalmology residency. He then completed a 2 year fellowship in vitreous and retinal surgery at UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas, and is excited to be returning home to provide vitreous and retinal surgical care to those in the greater CSRA area.
